PROBLEM: Uranium, radium and gross alpha levels in water source were as high as 43.7 pCi/L for uranium, 13.6 pCi/L for radium and 85.6 pCi/L for gross alpha; all exceeding MCL standards.
RESULTS: Pilot unit reduced uranium levels to an average of 2.6 pCi/L, radium levels to an average of 1.3 pCi/L, and gross alpha levels to 5.5 pCi/L.
